Communicating with God

If we desire communicating with God... is that possible voluntarily or absolute faith in God is a necessity... a prerequisite for contacting God... communicating with God! Is it that communication with God becomes possible only with the grace of God... never otherwise? What is the truth behind communicating with God all the time!

There have been many instances in the history of mankind when spiritual Masters of yore contacted God Almighty at will! Sri Ramakrishna Paramhansa and Maharishi Ramana were amongst them... they could communicate with God Almighty not only of their free will but all the time! How? How is it that some people communicate with God freely and others keep waiting for whole life?

What is that absolute factor that necessitates our communicating with God at our free will! Is it traveling the spiritual path or the path of religion... the path of rituals that paves way for communicating with God all the time? Can God Almighty be reached via the path of bhakti yoga or karma yoga as believed by many?

Going to a temple, church or mosque... does it enhance our journey towards God! What is that hidden factor of cosmic system that makes journey of life simple! Simply by praying to God... worshiping God... can we communicate with God all the time! Communicating with God... is it a one-way path as ordained by God Almighty?

Before deliberating on the subject of communicating with God... we need to understand the following precepts of cosmic system!

4. Is there a god

5. Kingdom of god

5. Experiencing the presence of god

Who is God?

God Almighty... also termed Parmatman (supreme atman soul), Karta, Sanatana Purusha, Prabhu, Bhagwan or Brahman in Hinduism is not the form of human beings. God Almighty is the sum total of all purified souls atmans in the cosmos at a given point of time. The entire volume of God Almighty as per sacred Bhagavad-Gita of Hinduism is the size of half a thumb!

And what is this half a thumb? Devoid of all dross impurities within... collective mass of all purified souls atmans in the cosmos occupy the volume of half a thumb! This enormous primordial cosmic power... after dissolution of old cosmos... unable to retain itself in its prime pure state for long again explodes with a big bang resulting in formation of a new cosmos... a new journey of life!

God Almighty is pure cosmic energy. It never interferes with the workings of cosmic system! Everything is preordained in the cosmic system as in a supercomputer! Everything is preprogrammed... predestined! As we perform our karma... accordingly manifests our destiny! In the cosmic system there never are free lunches. We cannot expect mangoes to grow on a guava tree!

Faith in God

Having understood the definition of God Almighty... human beings need absolute faith in God Almighty to understand the gist of cosmic system... the true essentials of life! In absence of absolute faith in God Almighty nothing in the system of God can be correctly understood! Most human beings world over no matter how many times we go to temple, church or mosque would not gain anything on the spiritual path unless an absolute faith in God is assured all the time.

Absolute faith in God Almighty is that inherent ingredient of the cosmic system... spiritual life devoid of which wisdom contained in Bhagavad-Gita of Hinduism can never be fathomed by one! The contents of Bhagavad-Gita... the teachings of Bhagavad-Gita can never be understood literally... one needs reading in between the lines!

It is only absolute faith in God Almighty that paves way for understanding wisdom of Bhagavad-Gita... the underlying teachings! The prime reason why scientists world over fail to understand the gist of Bhagavad-Gita... the most sacred Scripture of Hinduism existing on mother Earth! Science demands proofs that are not forthcoming in the spiritual system... in the system of God!

The workings of cosmic system are based on absolute faith in God Almighty. Spirituality starts from the point where science ends! Science is primarily meant for living the physical manifest phase of life in a meaningful manner whereas spiritual path lands one directly in the domain of God... the kingdom of God (termed Vaikuntha in Hinduism)!

Faith in God Almighty is an absolute necessity... devoid of which life as a human being becomes worthless! In fact life of human beings having no faith in God reduces to that of an animal... not knowing the absolute goal of life ever! It is only when we have absolute faith in God Almighty... the entire picture of life... the cosmic goal of life becomes clear to us!

Faith in God Almighty is an attribute that cannot be developed overnight. Plainly speaking faith in God Almighty exists inherently within human beings from time of birth. Those devoid of absolute faith in God can develop faith in God Almighty by traveling spiritual path step-by-step. It is only by practicing patience, persistence and perseverance at its level best human beings developed faith in God!

Does God Exist? Is There a God

Apart from knowing who is God... and developing inherent faith in God Almighty... many people world over always lived in a state of dilemma... asking all the time, Does God exist? Is there a God? For such people actually there is no remedy! It is only by traveling spiritual path one developed faith in God Almighty... presence of which is an essential must for a true seeker of God!

We cannot keep doubting God Almighty yet, keep expecting grace of God Almighty! Either we believe in God or we don't... there is nothing midway! In the domain of God either we have absolute faith in God Almighty... or we have none! Similar as either one is a thief or one is not! There is no meaning to the saying that one is 98% thief!

I just cannot say I'm a petty thief! Whether I indulge in theft of few dollars or a few million dollars... it comes to the same... I shall always remain a thief in the eyes of law no matter what! If we truly desire manifesting life as it was meant to be in the human form... believing in God... belief in the existence of God is an absolute must!

After all we are not getting anything by disbelieving God! Furthermore the existence of God is beyond doubt. Why? It is for the simple reason that our human body has been manifested by our soul Atman to work out its karma... remove the dross impurities within! It is presence of souls' atmans in the cosmos that forms essence of life... the human body being a temporary sojourn in the entire life span of souls' atmans!

Our soul Atman being the absolute master and controller of human body... the human form... it is but imperative on human beings to travel the spiritual path... to believe in God... developing a belief in the existence of God! If souls' atmans did not exist... neither would life in the cosmic system! It is existence of souls' atmans that confirms existence of God Almighty in the cosmic system!

By believing in God... by establishing full faith in God Almighty human beings accelerated their cosmic journey towards the ultimate goal of life... reaching the stage of moksha salvation at the earliest! For gaining enlightenment... for reaching the stage of kaivalya jnana, Understanding God, having faith in God... believing in the existence of God is an absolute must!

Kingdom of God

If we have rightly understood who is God, the value of faith in God, belief in the existence of God... we shall also understand the anomaly that God Almighty exists in the kingdom of God and not the kingdom of heaven as believed by most world over! In Christianity it is believed beyond doubt that God Almighty exists in the kingdom of heaven.

This is an absolute misnomer. Both heaven and hell are resting places for the souls' atmans to hibernate when matching parents are not available on mother Earth after death of body! As per the crux of cosmic life after death of human body... the released soul Atman immediately manifests a new body provided matching parents are available on mother Earth.

In absence of matching parents... the released soul Atman hibernates in heaven (termed swarga in Hinduism) if the residual balance of karma is positive and hell (termed Naraka in Hinduism) if negative! Both heaven and hell exist in Sun... Heaven in the center of Sun where temperatures exceed millions of degrees centigrade!

It is in such high temperatures our soul Atman feels comfortable. Hell exists in the periphery of Sun where temperatures are considerably less. It is in such low temperatures our soul Atman suffers for eternity. No sooner matching parents become available on mother Earth... the hibernating soul Atman immediately manifests a new body and starts a new cycle of life!

The kingdom of God is reached by human beings... rather our soul Atman the moment human beings reached the stage of enlightenment... the stage of kaivalya jnana! Having gained enlightenment... the liberated soul Atman finally enters the abode of God... the kingdom of God (termed Vaikuntha in Hinduism). The kingdom of God is a point of no return!

Having entered kingdom of God the liberated soul Atman need not manifest a body again! Devoid of karma... the dross impurities within the need for the soul Atman to manifest a body now ceases to exist. The purified soul Atman remains in kingdom of God... Vaikuntha in Hinduism for eternity... that is until dissolution of cosmos occurs (termed Pralaya in Hinduism).

Experiencing the Presence of God

The final chapter that needs to be understood in the journey towards God is experiencing presence of God in day-to-day affairs of life! The experience of God... the presence of God is never felt when in a temple, church or mosque! It is all temporal... it is simply a feeling that overwhelms us when in temple, church or mosque... the direct experience of God can never be exercised while existing in temple, church or mosque!

For experiencing God... for feeling the presence of God all the time we need traveling the spiritual path... the uncharted path of spirituality that leads one towards God Almighty step-by-step... slowly one foot at a time! Unless we understand the essence of our soul Atman... we can never experience God Almighty! Our soul Atman is the spirit... the super consciousness manifesting us all the time!

We have to understand our inner self... our true inner self... our soul Atman... the spirit within! It is our soul Atman that resides in our body that needs pure oxygen to breath. As long as our heart beats... it announces the existence of soul Atman in the body. The moment our heart stops beating it is time to bid goodbye to the earthly sojourn... the earthly journey!

For communicating with God Almighty... for feeling the presence of God all the time... one needs eradicating all dross impurities from the soul Atman permanently. By establishing control over five senses and mind step-by-step... human beings proceeded ahead in journey of life. Apart from establishing absolute control over five senses and mind we need practicing absolute celibacy for a minimum period of 12 years in continuation.

For full awakening of kundalini Shakti... the dormant lying serpentine energy practicing absolute celibacy is an absolute must! In absence of correct practice of absolute celibacy nothing worthwhile on the path of spirituality can be achieved. Sexual energy is the most potent of all energies made available to mankind by the grace of God Almighty.

Most human beings while away this precious cosmic energy through pure physical channels by indiscriminate sexual indulgence... one night stands never realizing that a few moments of ecstasy... pure bliss can mar our future forever. Successful ones always transmute this precious cosmic energy towards the ultimate goal of life.

When 13 I finally resolved to see and meet God in this very life come whatever may! With no preceptor to guide... no spiritual master in sight I continued my journey on the spiritual path unhindered but with a feeling of fear of the unknown! As time passed by... my absolute faith in God Almighty paved way for scaling higher brackets of spiritual pursuit!

I had nothing to fear... I was all alone in the journey of life! People world over think that journey of spirituality is full of thorns... they are partly right... the path of spirituality is not laid with thorns... it is in fact made up of thorns! Only by practicing patience, persistence and perseverance at its level best I finally reached the portals of God Almighty on third of August 1993!

25 years of yoga meditation... I finally landed in the laps of God Almighty! I had reached the point of no return... the stage of self realization when the whole world became one community for me! I was born in a Jain family but after reaching the stage of self realization... I was reduced to writing my name as Vijay Kumar against Vijay Kumar Jain I used earlier!

Life in the cosmic domain it is not as simple as most human beings believe on mother Earth. In the last about 150 years amongst 7 billion people world over only two persons reached the stage of enlightenment... the stage of kaivalya jnana... Sri Ramakrishna Paramhansa and Maharishi Ramana! Both of these spiritual stalwarts gained enlightenment in their lifetime.

Simply by indulgence in bhakti yoga or karma yoga, God Almighty can never be reached nor can one communicate with God Almighty! Even by going to a temple, church or mosque... God Almighty can never be reached! Indulgence in religion... the path of rituals does not take one towards the domain of God Almighty!

Only when one awakens the kundalini fully... does the Sahasrara Chakra (thousand petaled Lotus) existing within our brain behind the forehead opens fully. The opening of Sahasrara Chakra announces human beings reaching the stage of enlightenment... kaivalya jnana! The opening of Sahasrara Chakra is a slow and steady process!

Similar as just by pulling a plant we cannot make it grow... or just by adding fragrance externally... we cannot originate the smell of a flower... the path of spirituality also needs traveling step-by-step similar to the journey by a student. One just cannot jump from class one to class four... it simply cannot be! The journey of spirituality needs to be performed with total diligence.

After eradicating karma forever... when a soul Atman reaches the stage of absolute purity... it announces human beings reaching the stage of Nirvikalpa Samadhi... the state of absolute nothingness when human beings can have a communion with God Almighty on a permanent basis every second of life.

After reaching the stage of Nirvikalpa Samadhi human beings can establish communication with God on one-to-one basis... can communicate with God Almighty all the time! Reaching the stage of Nirvikalpa Samadhi is a one-way process. Having reached the stage of Nirvikalpa Samadhi there is no way one can return to the earthly chores in the usual manner.

Reaching the stage of Nirvikalpa Samadhi... gaining enlightenment... reaching the stage of kaivalya jnana... gaining self realization... in Hinduism parlance... in the language of Bhagavad-Gita... the doctrine given to mankind by Lord Krishna... all mean the same! Communicating with God is easy but only for an enlightened one... never otherwise!

For communicating with God Almighty one needs reaching the stage of enlightenment... the stage of kaivalya jnana... the stage of Nirvikalpa Samadhi forever!
