Timeline of the evolution of life

Human evolution from beginning of time... ever since mankind developed intelligence has been dogged with controversy! Why people in west think the topic of human evolution needs further discussion! The controversy in respect of human evolution originates from the fact that scientific world... the western world demands proofs... something that is not forthcoming!

The concept of human evolution can be understood in totality if we dwell in the domain of spirituality... the domain of our inner self... the domain of spirit... our soul atman... super live consciousness that permeates entire cosmic system leave alone human beings! In absence of primordial consciousness life simply could not sustain in cosmic system!

We have to understand the most fundamental truth of cosmic life. It is not the human form that has manifested a soul atman... the spirit within! It is our soul atman the spirit within that has manifested the human form to work out its karma... remove the dross impurities within! Every single soul atman needs a body to work out its karma... cleanse itself of dross impurities within!

Right from first manifestation as an amoeba (single cell formation) to the last as human beings... the effort of soul atman remains... regaining its lost pure prime pristine primordial form at the earliest! This becomes possible when a soul atman manifests the human form... the highest manifest stage in the cosmic life cycle.

Ever since every soul atman separated from its source, God Almighty himself (termed Brahman in Hinduism)... it is trying to reunite... yoke itself back to the source from which it separated billions of years ago! Human evolution is part of cosmic design... an integral part of cosmic journey undertaken by our soul atman the spirit within.

The concept of evolution of man... the doctrine of human evolution can be best understood by starting from beginning of time when big bang occurred! Does this mean evolution of human beings is the result of occurrence of big bang theory in the past! Yes, the absolute truth is so! If there was no big bang... the need for human beings to evolve would not have existed! Why?

The occurrence of big bang in the cosmic system is a fact of life... something that is still a topic of discussion amongst the scientific fraternity! Science demands proofs... the concept of evolution are primarily based on precepts of spirituality where proofs are not forthcoming! The concept of human evolution is beyond the capture of science.

Basing our discussions on Bhagavad-Gita of Hinduism... the foremost of all sacred Scriptures existing on mother Earth we find concept of human evolution is not new to Hinduism or Hindus! Everything exists in the sacred Bhagavad-Gita of Hinduism in detail. From creation of cosmos to dissolution of the cosmos (termed Pralaya) everything is detailed in Bhagavad-Gita of Hinduism!

Human evolution timeline is not very old! Getting back to time when dissolution of old cosmos is occurring (termed Pralaya in Hinduism)... At this stage as per the sacred Bhagavad-Gita of Hinduism in whatever manifest stage a soul atman is... every single soul atman reaches the last leg of cosmic life... the 8.4 millionth manifestation when human beings gained enlightenment!

Does this mean at the time of dissolution of cosmos... every single soul atman existing in cosmic system gains absolute purity... yes, the truth is so! Every single soul atman at time of dissolution of the cosmos even if manifesting the form of an insect, plant, animal or human beings... reaches the 8.4 millionth manifestation... the stage of enlightenment (kaivalya jnana)!

Devoid of all dross impurities within... the entire cluster of all souls’ atmans is reduced to the size of half a thumb! Does this mean the volume of entire cosmos reduces to the size of half a thumb... yes; this is a fact of life! The prime reason why the scientific community explains this phenomenon from singularity point of view! As per science cosmos was a speck in beginning!

And what is this volume of half the size of a thumb? The collective power of all purified souls atmans in the cosmos... the volume of half a thumb is what we know as God Almighty! As per sacred Bhagavad-Gita of Hinduism it is God Almighty who explodes self with a big bang to create a new cosmos... a new journey of life!

And why does God Almighty explode self with a big bang? No sooner dissolution of old cosmos completes and size of entire cosmos reduces to size of half a thumb... this enormous primordial energy... volume of half a thumb... collective power of all purified souls atmans in cosmos unable to retain itself for long in its prime pure state again explodes with a big bang... resulting in formation of a new cosmos... a new journey of life!

The complete doctrine of big bang is not new to Hinduism! The concept of human evolution clearly exists in sacred Bhagavad-Gita of Hinduism! It is a different matter that even the most evolved scientists of today failed to understand the gist of Bhagavad-Gita as science demands proofs that are not forthcoming in the domain of God!

Human evolution timeline begins from period when every soul atman exhausts manifesting every type of animal form! Does this mean before manifesting human form... our soul atman manifested form of an animal... yes, the truth is so! Our soul atman not only manifested the animal form... it started its journey by manifesting form of an insect, then plant, animals and finally the human form!

No sooner God Almighty explodes self with a big bang... all purified souls atmans scattered all over cosmos at unimaginable speeds. In the melee, the hurtling souls' atmans gather impurities similar as a rolling ball gathers moss! After billions of years of evolution when life supporting planets like mother Earth develop... life evolves in cosmic system!

Every single soul atman started its cosmic journey as an amoeba... it evolved further into multi-cell formation... then insect, plant, animal life and finally forms of human beings! Before manifesting first human form our soul atman has already manifested 7.3 million life forms in insect, plant and animal life! In human form alone we have 1.1 million types of manifestations!

The entire journey of soul atman is limited to 8.4 million manifestations on the whole... an earthly life cycle of 96.4 million years! Human beings have evolved not only from apes... every single animal form has been our ancestor! Every single form of plant life is our ancestor. Every single form of insect life also is our ancestor!

The prime reason why human beings sometimes stoop so low that it becomes difficult to differentiate human beings from animals… human beings sometimes behaving like insects, plants or animals! Plant life is akin to human beings remaining mum all the time... no matter what! Even if keeping mum was not in their interest... yet, they still keep mum!

The doctrine of Bhagavad-Gita is absolutely clear on this point of human evolution. The doctrine of human evolution... the human evolution timeline is not difficult to fathom. It is only by assimilating the pearls of wisdom contained in Bhagavad-Gita human beings correctly understood the essence of evolution of man!

The timeline of the evolution of life on mother Earth is not very old. Why? The dominant human species as we see today... the intelligent life is not older than 10,000 years... when intelligence finally made way into the human brain! As human beings evolved... so did our brain! The wisdom of Vedas... first words of God invoked by mankind does not date beyond 10,000 years!

Similar as a student of class one promotes to class II... then three... then four... and finally reaches 12th standard... every soul atman evolves in stages. The present earthly sojourn of 70 to 80 years in the life of a human being is nothing but a speck in the vast expanse of life of a soul atman limited to 96.4 million earthly years!

The journey by our soul atman and the human evolution are intimately connected... and so do God Almighty and the theory of big bang! In absence of one... the other simply cannot sustain! If the existence of God Almighty is disputed... the big bang theory fails to exist! In absence of big bang occurring... no life could exist in the cosmic system!

It is only precepts contained in Hinduism... about 700 shlokas (verses) contained in sacred Bhagavad-Gita of Hinduism that form the essence of life on mother Earth! In absence of Bhagavad-Gita the doctrine given to mankind by Lord Krishna in the battle of Mahabharata... the concept of human evolution... human evolution timeline would have remained veiled!

It is only when pure consciousness... super consciousness existing in form of our soul atman the spirit within manifests... life evolves in the cosmic system... never otherwise! In the absence of souls' atmans... life simply could not exist in the cosmic system! For evolution of life the doctrine of karma is necessitated.

Karma acts as the accountant general of the cosmic system. Whatever the residual balance of karma at the time of death of the body... the same becomes the opening balance for the next manifestation! It is only through the complex process of karma life moves from one manifestation to another... from one body to next!

The concept of human evolution is not new to Hinduism... but in the west it shall always remain a point of dispute... a matter of discussion! Having absolute faith in God almighty... traveling the spiritual path any human being can unveil the pearls of wisdom hidden in sacred Bhagavad-Gita of Hinduism... reach the stage of enlightenment (kaivalya jnana) and finally salvation (moksha).

Mahavira... the 24th Tirthankara of Jainism (preceptor), Gautama Buddha, Jesus Christ and prophet Mohammed... all traveled the spiritual path in their lifetime and reached stage of enlightenment and salvation... became man gods... human gods! To all these man gods... the human evolution theory was as clear as ABCD for they had reached the end of cosmic life.

At any stage of life if we truly desire understanding the human evolution timeline... the human evolution chart... the theory of human evolution in totality... we need understanding the precepts contained in Bhagavad-Gita of Hinduism! Bhagavad-Gita contains ABCD of the cosmic system... knowing Bhagavad-Gita one finally emancipates forever from the cycle of birth and death.

Bhagavad-Gita of Hinduism is one such document knowing which human beings finally gained immortality... reached the stage of omniscience for all practical purposes!
