Bhagavad Gita primarily has three fundamentals to convey:
1. Who am I?
2. Where have I to go? What is my destination?
3. The ways and paths to reach that destination!
Understanding Who am I
Understanding that we are a soul atman on its cosmic journey of 8.4 million manifestations (an earthly life cycle of 96.4 million years) and not a human being... a mortal loner in the journey of life... is the ultimate truth of life! However best one tries... this concept does not become clear to one. Why?
Why human beings failed to understand primary meaning of life... the basic fundamental behind taking birth as a human being! So was ordained by God Almighty! So that intelligent human beings did not reach stage of enlightenment in one fling... God Almighty ordained a long journey of 1.1 million manifestations in human form (an earthly life cycle of 12.4 million years)!
God Almighty mounted an ego within so that human beings remained engrossed in trivialities of life! To cut across shackles of karma... to free self from bondages of earthly domain... the wisdom contained in Bhagavad Gita was necessitated! One needed to travel spiritual path... spiritual journey to fathom depth of wisdom contained in Bhagavad Gita!
Only by traveling spiritual path... the uncharted territory of unknown human beings finally shed last traces of karma step-by-step and reached stage of enlightenment when all became clear from A to Z. One finally became an enlightened one... a pure soul atman! Devoid of all dross impurities within... the soul atman finally regained its lost original pure prime pristine primordial form!
Does it mean... the analogy of who I am cannot be understood through means of religion, rituals or bhakti yoga alone! No... In present scientific age wisdom contained in Bhagavad Gita is necessitated for reaching stage of enlightenment (kaivalya jnana)! Rituals practically carried no meaning in present scenario! They were necessitated during time of Vedas... not now!
Where have I to go? What is my destination?
Once I understood who I was... a mortal human being or a soul atman I must know where I had to go... what was the ultimate purpose of life on mother earth! The journey of every soul atman finally culminates when human beings reached stage of enlightenment (kaivalya jnana) and finally salvation (moksha)! After becoming an enlightened one taking salvation is the only recourse!
Having gained absolute purity as a pure soul atman... what is left is reaching abode of God... kingdom of God (termed Vaikuntha in Hinduism)! The kingdom of God Vaikuntha can only be reached when a soul atman gains absolute purity... never before! Reaching Vaikuntha ... kingdom of God is the ultimate goal of every living form on mother earth nay whole of cosmos!
Having reached kingdom of God Vaikuntha... the liberated soul atman remains in Vaikuntha (kingdom of God) until eternity! Which in simple parlance means until dissolution of cosmos occurs (termed Pralaya in Hinduism)! Pralaya (dissolution of cosmos) is still trillions and trillions of years away... a time when whole cosmos dissolves to size of half a thumb!
What does it mean... reaching kingdom of God? God is not the form of human beings... it is a source of primordial cosmic energy... something beyond comprehension of most human beings... the cluster of all purified souls atmans in the cosmos at a given moment of time! Reaching God Almighty means reaching our source... Almighty Father!
At the time of big bang (moments after dissolution of old cosmos has completed)... God Almighty... Almighty Father... the cluster of all purified souls atmans in cosmos explodes with a big bang! This results in all purified souls atmans scattering all over cosmos at unimaginable speeds! In the melee... the hurtling souls' atmans gathered impurities similar as a rolling ball gathers moss!
No sooner life supporting planets like mother earth evolved in cosmic system... the impure souls' atmans immediately started manifesting life... body after body! To cleanse themselves of dross impurities within... started cosmic life cycle of every soul atman! This explains the intent of journey undertaken by every soul atman in cosmic system!
From beginning to end... from stage of big bang to dissolution of cosmos (termed Pralaya in Hinduism)... the journey of life always belonged to our real self... our soul atman... the spirit within! The human form was but a temporary sojourn for soul atman... the spirit within! It was only through the human form... complete cleansing of soul atman was possible!
In whatever stage of life (manifestation) I may had been... between karmic index of 7.300001 and 8.400000 I finally realized God in my lifetime... reached end of cosmic life... the 8.4 millionth manifestation... last in cosmic life cycle! Nowhere to go further... I as a pure soul atman shall attain salvation (moksha) at the end of journey!
I reached this stage of life assimilating pearls of wisdom contained in Bhagavad Gita of Hinduism! Referring to Vedas (Hinduism revelations) was never necessitated in present scientific age! Nor did I follow any rituals in my lifetime! Going to a Temple, church or mosque was not my forte. Remaining wherever I was... I reached God in my lifetime!
The Ways and Paths to reach that Destination
Having realized the truth of my real self... me as a soul atman... the spirit within... and the final goal of my life... I was only to know the path following which I could reach God Almighty... Almighty Father! Having understood the importance of human form... the highest manifest stage in cosmic life cycle... I wanted to reach God in this very life!
When young six years of age I inherently realized that following path of truthfulness was to become my forte! No matter what, I would follow path of absolute truthfulness always and ever! The sweet small inner voice of my soul atman seemed to prompt from within... I had to follow path of truthfulness at all costs!
Absolutely unknown why I was doing that I started following path of absolute truthfulness every second of life! Because of my truthfulness... my classmates... my relatives... friends cheated me all the time! I had no alternative but to accept it as my determination in life was absolute! In spite of all injustice meted to me I continued my journey of life unperturbed by happenings around.
It was when I neared 11 years of age... I developed a bulldog determination to see God. Whenever I went to a Jain temple with my mother... I used to check the back of every idol installed in the temple... maybe God Almighty was hiding there unknown to mankind! Searching God in idols became my pastime.
Do not remember as a child how many idols of God I broke in my life only to find them empty! Slowly it dawned upon me that God Almighty did not exist in idols made of clay and sold by roadside vendors! Thereafter I stopped going to temples in search of God! By 13 years of age... my desire to see God turned to firm conviction... in this very life I shall see and also meet God... no matter what!
As I progressed ahead in the journey of life... literature related to Sri Ramakrishna Paramhansa and Maharishi Ramana attracted me the most! I regarded Swami Vivekananda as my idol... a perfect human being! The moment I realized that Swami Vivekananda had a spiritual master by the name of Ramakrishna Paramhansa... I went in search of him!
Whatever related to Sri Ramakrishna Paramhansa I could lay my hands upon... I tried to read and digest! I could clearly see that Sri Ramakrishna Paramhansa started in search of God via path of bhakti yoga but eventually switched to path of jnana yoga in the later stages of his life! The sacred Bhagavad Gita of Hinduism was integral part of teachings of Ramakrishna Paramhansa!
What if I tried to understand the teachings of Bhagavad Gita! I tried searching for a preceptor... a spiritual master... guru who could guide me in the journey of life! I found none. However best I tried... my search for a spiritual guru went in vain! Exasperated I asked God Almighty... what I was supposed to do in present circumstances!
Prompted from within the moment I asked God Almighty if he could become my guide in the journey of life! And lo, Almighty Father immediately said, yes! My happiness knew no bounds... I seemed to have achieved everything in life! From now on Almighty Father... God Almighty was to become my guide in the journey of life! Whenever I had a query... I had only to ask him!
My trust in Sri Ramakrishna Paramhansa paved way for believing in Bhagavad Gita and the path of jnana yoga (absolute wisdom)! If I were to see and meet God in this very life... it became quite certain that I was to pursue path of jnana yoga (meaning absolute wisdom in spiritual terminology)! Whatever Sri Ramakrishna Paramhansa did or attain in his life... I dissected every inch of his teachings!
Why not follow one who seemed to have reached God (within my inner domain... I knew he had)! While following teachings of Sri Ramakrishna Paramhansa I came to know of Maharishi Ramana! Reading biography of Maharishi Ramana I realized that both Sri Ramakrishna Paramhansa and Maharishi Ramana had reached God in their lifetime!
If I were to see and meet God in this very life, I had reached correct surmise! Just by following teachings of Sri Ramakrishna Paramhansa and Maharishi Ramana I could reach God in my lifetime! At every stage of life my soul atman... the voice of our soul atman that seemed to come from within my heart prompted me on the right path! I was not alone in the journey of life!
The teachings of Bhagavad Gita finally became my forte! I could not fathom an inch of what shlokas verses of Bhagavad Gita meant but the teachings of Sri Ramakrishna Paramhansa and Maharishi Ramana were absolutely pure and crystal clear! Without an iota of doubt I started traveling spiritual path diligently with all sincerity!
From now on it was never looking back! I had the wisdom of two enlightened ones available to me fathoming which I could reach God Almighty... Almighty Father in my lifetime! As the wisdom contained in Bhagavad Gita precipitated through various means... my anxiety knew no bound! I inherently learnt practice of absolute celibacy was necessitated for reaching God!
Also kundalini energy had something to do with Sahasra Pushpa existing within my brain! But how to activate kundalini was the major hurdle? By practice of absolute celibacy for a period of 14 years in continuation I finally awakened my kundalini fully! This resulted in full opening of Sahasra Pushpa within my brain! I had finally reached end of spiritual pursuit... the 8.4 millionth manifestation... the last in cosmic life cycle!
No sooner I realized God in 1993 at 37 years of age... the complete wisdom contained in Bhagavad Gita became like ABCD... it was as if I had dictated the contents of sacred Bhagavad Gita in one of my previous manifestations! It became distinctly clear to me that any human being world over desirous of reaching God need follow teachings of Bhagavad Gita ceremoniously!
In the present scientific age... the wisdom contained in various Vedas... particularly Rig Veda, Sama Veda, Yajur Veda and Atharva Veda was not necessitated! Nor was indulgence in rituals of any kind! Following path of jnana yoga (absolute wisdom) as detailed in sacred Bhagavad Gita of Hinduism any human being world over could gain enlightenment (kaivalya jnana)!
Bhagavad Gita is the most precious of all sacred scriptures existing world over! No doubt the doctrine of Bhagavad Gita was imparted by Lord Krishna in the battle of Mahabharata and is an integral part of Hinduism but the teachings of Bhagavad Gita have universal appeal!
Any human being world over belonging to any religion, belief or faith can follow teachings of Bhagavad Gita ceremoniously without fail! One need not convert to Hinduism for gaining wisdom contained in Bhagavad Gita! Remaining wherever we are... one can assimilate teachings of Bhagavad Gita truthfully and seriously!
Bhagavad Gita of Hinduism is the end of all! One sacred scripture sufficing to reach stage of enlightenment in ones lifetime... the earthly sojourn of 70 to 80 years! It is a miracle of sorts. The original gist of Bhagavad Gita is available for mere $.60 (Rupees 30/=) at most railway stations of India still, how many understood the teachings of Bhagavad Gita?
The teachings contained in 700 shlokas verses of Bhagavad Gita can never be understood literally... they need reading in between the lines! One who is sincere... one who is truthful... one who is hard-working having an absolute goal in life can definitely gain enlightenment in present life time! Practice of absolute celibacy finally leads to full awakening of kundalini shakti that form part of spiritual journey... the uncharted path of spirituality!
It is only via path of spirituality God Almighty can be reached... never path of religion or rituals! Understanding true definition of spirituality... the inherent meaning of spirituality is what enlightenment... salvation is all about!
In my lifetime of 54 years I have yet to come across a person who could clearly define to me the meaning of spirituality as detailed in sacred Bhagavad Gita of Hinduism! Indulging in rituals... following religion we never reach anywhere! Why indulge in something the results of which never take one towards God Almighty!
Following spiritual
path in present life time is the ultimate crux of life! Who knows
what we shall be in the next manifestation... who knows what form
our soul atman manifests in next life after death of present body...
it is in our interest as a human being... as a soul atman to pursue
spiritual journey as the goal of life! Only then can we expect to
reach God in present life time.
