Brahman in Hindu philosophy stands for God Almighty! In Hinduism God Almighty is termed Brahman never Brahmin (Brahmin only being a caste in Hinduism)! In Hinduism people pray to God Almighty... people pray to Brahman in two ways... Saguna and Nirguna Brahman... that is with and without a form!

The Saguna form of Brahman is more prevalent as commoners... masses find it difficult to pray to someone unseen... unknown! Travelers of spiritual path... those seriously seeking God Almighty pray to God in Nirguna form! Brahman is without a form! It is a composite mass of primordial cosmic energy... the combined power of all purified souls atmans in cosmos at a given moment of time!

Brahman Hinduism is an entity that creates the whole cosmos! When dissolution of old cosmos occurs in entirety (termed Pralaya in Hinduism)... the volume of entire cosmos reduced to size of half a thumb! And what is this half a thumb... this half a thumb as per sacred Bhagavad Gita of Hinduism is Brahman... God Almighty in all its glory!

Devoid of all dross impurities within... the mass of all purified souls atmans in cosmos occupied the volume of half a thumb! As per Bhagavad Gita of Hinduism if an individual grain of sand is an independent soul atman... the whole mound Brahman... God Almighty! It has been rightly said that every soul atman is of the same essence as Brahman... God Almighty!

Right from stage of big bang when Brahman... God Almighty explodes self... to the stage of dissolution (complete annihilation of cosmos)... the consciousness that always pervades entire cosmos is Brahman... God Almighty himself! As per sacred Bhagavad Gita of Hinduism apart from Brahman nothing else exists in whole of cosmos!

Only when perceived from senses point of view things appear solid. In truth the whole cosmos is made of clusters of atoms and molecules... including human beings! The moment death of body occurs on mother earth... the released soul atman either gains a new body based on residual balance of karma of that moment or hibernates in heaven or hell!

Brahman does not exist anywhere... rather it exists everywhere in form of souls atmans manifesting all over cosmos (soul is termed atman in Hinduism)! Reaching Brahman... reaching God Almighty is the goal of every seeker of spirituality... the ultimate goal of life for every human being! The moment human beings reach stage of enlightenment... one finally reached Brahman!

An enlightened one after gaining salvation (moksha) finally gains entry into abode of God... kingdom of God (termed Vaikuntha in Hinduism). Vaikuntha... the abode of God is a point of no return! Until dissolution of cosmos occurred... every liberated soul atman remained in Vaikuntha forever!

As per Bhagavad Gita of Hinduism, Brahman forms the core of all Hinduism philosophy! Every single Hinduism precept... every Hinduism belief rotates around concept of one God... one Brahman... controller of all things cosmic! Monism is an integral part of Hindu belief. As per Bhagavad Gita of Hinduism, God Almighty, Brahman is one and only one!

The concept of Brahman is best explained in sacred Bhagavad Gita of Hinduism! For knowing Brahman... for knowing the essence of Hinduism philosophy... teachings of Bhagavad Gita suffice! All the 700 the shlokas verses contained in Bhagavad Gita suffice for human beings to reach stage of enlightenment (kaivalya jnana)!

In times of Vedas... the Saguna form of Brahman was more prevalent! In absence of jnana (wisdom) human beings prayed to God visualizing him in Saguna form (with a form)! Only accomplished sages and saints realized that Brahman is Nirguna (having no form)! For a serious seeker of spirituality Brahman is always formless... a cluster of pure ethereal energy!

For travelers of spiritual path... praying to Saguna form of God is meaningless! Until we realized abstract truths of life we never reach Brahman... God in lifetime! For reaching Brahman... for reaching God Almighty wisdom contained in Bhagavad Gita is necessitated! Reading anything relating to Sri Ramakrishna Paramhansa and Maharishi Ramana is also of great help!

In the last about 150 years amongst 7 billion people existing world over only two persons reached stage of enlightenment... Sri Ramakrishna Paramhansa and Maharishi Ramana! Following the beaten path undertaken by enlightened ones is a sure sort method for reaching God... Brahman in ones lifetime!

At no stage of life can we ever consider Atman being equivalent of Brahman! If an individual piece of puzzle is an independent soul atman... the completed puzzle Brahman... God Almighty! The concept of atman Brahman can only be understood by one who travels path of absolute truthfulness always and ever!

Only by remaining truthful one could hear the sweet small inner voice of our soul atman that seemed to come from within our heart! Prompted by dictates of my soul atman I finally realized God... reached Brahman in my lifetime at 37 years of age! This is my last birth... the 8.4 millionth manifestation! Nowhere else to go further I shall but attain salvation moksha at the end of journey!

Journey of spiritual path is the most pleasant experience that can ever be experienced by human beings! Realizing Brahman in all its cosmic glory... liberating self from cycle of birth and death forever is what spirituality is all about! Establishing control over five senses and mind... practicing absolute celibacy for a minimum period of 12 years in continuation human beings finally gained enlightenment (kaivalya jnana)!

Reaching Brahman in a limited time span of 70 to 80 years is really difficult... rather seems impossible! But for an ardent seeker of spirituality mounted with bulldog determination of Winston Churchill... the willpower demonstrated by Swami Vivekananda... human beings finally emancipated forever from cycle of birth and death... regained their lost original pure prime pristine primordial form!

Becoming a pure soul atman is the crux of life. Whether we do it now in present manifestation or leave it for future manifestations is the sole prerogative of every individual human being! Who knows what we shall be the next manifestation... why not travel the spiritual path now and reach Brahman... God Almighty!

People search for Brahman (God Almighty) in various scriptures of different religions of world... never realizing that God Almighty exists within us in miniscule form as our soul atman (as our consciousness... the spirit within)! It is our soul atman that has manifested the human form to work out its karma... remove the dross impurities within and not vice-versa!

We are primarily a cosmic consciousness that needs manifesting human body to work out its karma... remove dross impurities within! Of itself every soul atman is inert... cannot purify self! Similar as one KG of pure gold sandwiched in hundred KG lump of gold ore cannot extract self and requires external mining machinery and processes... every soul atman also require manifesting karma... to cleanse self of dross impurities within!

This becomes possible when soul atman manifest a body! Starting from stage of amoeba (single cell formation)... the first manifestation in cosmic life cycle... the soul atman is evolving! It then evolves into multi-cell formation... insect life, plant life and animal life! Until reaching human form our soul atman has already manifested 7.3 million life forms.

In human form itself we have 1.1 million manifestations before human beings reached Brahman... realized God Almighty! Does it mean for human beings to reach Brahman... God Almighty... a lengthy journey of 1.1 million manifestations (an earthly life cycle of 12.4 million years) is necessitated... yes, the cosmic truth is so!

The prime reason why gaining enlightenment is so difficult!
