Atman is best
defined in Bhagavad Gita... the foremost of all sacred Scriptures
existing on mother Earth particularly Hinduism! Atman in Bhagavad
Gita forms the core of life. It is the presence of an atman soul...
a super consciousness that is the cause of life on mother Earth.
Unless an atman soul manifests a human body... human beings simply
could not evolve!
Ever since all
atmans souls separated from their parent body... the omnipotent
Brahman (termed God Almighty)... the effort of every Atman soul
remains rejoining with the source... reaching the kingdom of God...
the abode of God (termed Vaikuntha in Hinduism) at the earliest.
The moment human beings gained enlightenment (kaivalya jnana)...
the liberated Atman soul reaches the logical end of life... the
8.4 millionth manifestation... the last in the cosmic life cycle!
From the first
manifestation as an amoeba (single cell formation) to the last as
human beings... the effort of every Atman soul remains regaining
its lost original pure prime pristine primordial form at the earliest!
It is only in human form every Atman soul finally regains its originality...
when human beings reached the 8.4 millionth manifestation after
gaining enlightenment (kaivalya jnana).
Travel in human
form is the most pleasant experience for every Atman soul! Only
in human form every Atman soul finally liberates self from the cycle
of birth and death forever. The human form is reached by the atman
soul after passing through a maze of 7.3 million manifestations
in insect, plant and animal form! In the human form alone we have
1.1 million types of manifestations!
Does it mean
every human being has a total of 1.1 million lives for reaching
stage of enlightenment (kaivalya jnana) and finally salvation (moksha)!
Yes... the cosmic truth is so! Most human beings on Mother Earth
do not understand the meaning of spirituality... how can one be
expected to travel the spiritual path... reaching the stage of enlightenment
(kaivalya jnana) and finally salvation (moksha)?
For understanding
spirituality to the core... for understanding the essence of Atman
soul... for understanding the meaning of Brahman (termed God Almighty)...
we need indulgence in the sacred Bhagavad Gita of Hinduism!
Bhagavad Gita of Hinduism is one such document knowing which human
beings finally emancipated forever from the cycle of birth and death.
Knowing Bhagavad Gita... understanding the essence of atman soul...
human beings finally reached the Mount Everest of spirituality!
For realizing the essence of life... for understanding the intricacies
of spiritual path... for understanding wisdom contained in sacred Bhagavad Gita of Hinduism... traveling the spiritual path is a necessity...
a compulsion that must always emanate from within! The contents
of Bhagavad Gita can never be understood literally or by force!
Having full
faith in God Almighty since six years of age... I went in search
of God when 11~13 years of age. Practicing yoga meditation as preached
and advocated by Maharishi Ramana... following the path of Neti
(not this, not this) the Shavasana way of yoga I finally realized
God in 1993 at 37 years of age. I have reached the end of cosmic
life!
Nowhere further
to go I shall attain salvation (moksha) the moment I leave my mortal
frame! Having reached the Mount Everest of spirituality... I
can say with confidence that Atman soul and Bhagavad Gita are intimately
connected! For learning the essence of Atman soul... for realizing
our true inner self... one needs to assimilate the teachings of
Bhagavad Gita in entirety!
All the 700 shlokas verses of Bhagavad Gita are full of wisdom that
is nowhere to be found on Mother Earth. No other Scripture of any
religion whatsoever details the definition of atman soul with as
much clarity as defined in the sacred Bhagavad Gita of Hinduism!
It is Bhagavad Gita of Hinduism that tells us about the ultimate
truths of life.
It is only
by assimilating wisdom contained in Bhagavad Gita we realize that
journey of life truly belongs to our atman soul and not the bodily
self! It is not within the capability of human body to manifest
an Atman soul. Every Atman soul manifests the human body to work
out its karma... remove the dross impurities within!
Before occurrence
of big bang, Brahman (termed God Almighty)... the cluster of all
purified atmans souls in the cosmos is absolutely pure! No sooner
big bang occurs with Brahman God Almighty exploding self... all
purified atmans souls scattered all over cosmos at unimaginable
speeds. In the melee the purified atmans souls gathered impurities
similar as a rolling ball gathers moss!
To cleanse themselves of the dross impurities within starts the
cosmic journey of every Atman soul! It is only by passing through
a maze of 8.4 million manifestations... an earthly life cycle of
96.4 million years... every Atman soul finally liberates itself
from cycle of birth and death... regains its lost original pure
prime pristine primordial form which was not possible otherwise!
Any human being
on mother Earth... a serious seeker of spirituality can fathom the
depth of wisdom contained in Bhagavad Gita by maintaining full faith
in God Almighty coupled with the power of truthfulness all along!
Unless we remain truthful all the time... nothing on the path of
spirituality can ever be gained! However best one may try... one
never achieves anything via the path of religion.
Religion
was meant for living ephemeral phase of life... physical life span
of 70 to 80 years in the life of human beings! For knowing our
inner self... for realizing our atman soul we need indulgence in
sacred Bhagavad Gita of Hinduism! One single document... the sacred
Bhagavad Gita is sufficient for human beings to reach the stage
of enlightenment (kaivalya jnana) and finally salvation (moksha).
Atman (termed soul in English) can never be understood correctly
by following the path of Christianity or Islamic Dharma. Even though
Jesus Christ and prophet Mohammed gained enlightenment in their
lifetime... yet, the contents of sacred Bible and Koran have not
been correctly deciphered by followers of Christianity and Islamic
Dharma respectively... the prime reason why Christians and Muslims
world over fail to understand the correct meaning of atman soul!
For following
the tenets of Bhagavad Gita one need not become a Hindu nor convert
to Hinduism religion! The best part of Hinduism religion is...
even while following ones own religion any human being on Mother
Earth can follow the teachings of Bhagavad Gita ceremoniously...
without interruption of any kind! For learning Bhagavad Gita following
path of absolute truthfulness is a must!
There are no
shortcuts to following Bhagavad Gita! The prime reason why in last
about 150 years only two persons reached the stage of enlightenment
(kaivalya jnana) amongst above 7 billion people existing world over.
Both Sri Ramakrishna Paramhansa and Maharishi Ramana initially started
their journey via the path of bhakti yoga but subsequently switched
to path of jnana yoga (the path of absolute wisdom)!
No matter to whatever faith, belief or religion we belong... one
can follow the teachings of Bhagavad Gita ceremoniously without
fail! It is common misnomer that for learning essence of Bhagavad
Gita... the truth of atman soul one needs a preceptor... a spiritual
master to guide one in the journey of life! In the present Kali
Yuga (metal age) expecting finding a spiritual master is almost
impossible! Why?
Mahavira...
the 24th Tirthankara of Jainism (preceptor) rightly said, before
preaching anything... one must reach the level of Mahavira... become
an enlightened one! How many enlightened ones do we find in daily
life on Mother Earth? Perhaps none! In the circumstances having
full faith in God almighty... following the path of absolute truthfulness
one must start the spiritual journey!
This is the
path I followed when 13 years of age! However best I tried I could
not find a spiritual preceptor... a spiritual guru to guide me on
the spiritual path! Feeling totally exasperated I finally succumbed
and exclaimed to God Almighty that if I do not get a spiritual master
shortly... I shall end my life and lo... God Almighty agreed to
become my spiritual preceptor... my spiritual guide in the journey
of life!
The spiritual path... the uncharted spiritual journey is full of
thorns. Truthfully it is not full but made up of thorns! Traveling
the spiritual path demands highest level of perfection that is nowhere
to be seen on Mother Earth in present times! It is only by practicing
patience, persistence and perseverance at its best I finally reached
the stage of self realization after 25 years of serious yoga meditation!
The spiritual
path has its pitfalls. Do not remember how many times I ate hell
for breakfast... how many contemplations of suicide! Yet, my resolve
in finding God Almighty was absolute. No matter what... in the present
life I had to find Brahman... God Almighty come whatever may! Mounted
with bulldog determination of Winston Churchill with all eggs in
one basket... I finally cleared all hurdles on the spiritual path...
reached the stage of self realization at the end of the journey!
I have finally
become a pure Atman soul in the journey of life. My karma having
dissolved forever... this is my last journey on Mother Earth...
the 8.4 millionth manifestation! Ever since 1993 I am following
the path of Mahavira... disseminating the pearls of wisdom contained
in Bhagavad Gita... the wisdom I gained on the spiritual path!
