Who is Krishna - Lord krisna

If we ask who is Krishna then most amongst us would say Lord Krishna is a Hindu God... an embodiment of love and Dharma (righteousness). People remember Krishna more as one who re-establishes Dharma (righteousness) on Mother Earth in face of absolute anarchy... a state of complete Adharma (lawlessness).

If we go to Vrindavan, Mathura in India and ask who is Krishna... perhaps one may not feel asking anything! Vrindavan, Mathura, India is the birthplace of Lord Krishna... one who has always been considered as the doer of mankind... the harbinger of love for humanity to its extreme! In Vrindavan one need not ask, "Who is Krishna"... all is visible on the faces of people all over!

Lord Krishna ever since young age indulged in tasks that were not only mammoth in size but always stood for pure love and Dharma (righteousness)! Wherever there was evil, Lord Krishna was there to exterminate it even as a child. Lord Krishna was born with a purpose... to re-establish Dharma (righteousness) in the face of all adversities!

When the fate of mankind reaches a stage when even man gods like Mahavira, Gautama Buddha, Jesus Christ or Prophet Mohammed would fail... the coming of an avatar (God manifest in human form) becomes inevitable! Lord Krishna was an avatar of his era... a manifestation of God in human form!

In his childhood Krishna is always depicted as a child eating butter! This demonstrates that Krishna was always after the ultimate result... never the ephemeral fantasies! Krishna devouring butter simply signifies that to fathom the intricacies of life we need to churn the workings of ephemeral world... only then butter... the end result becomes available!

Krishna has always been depicted as one with blue body! And what does this blue body denote? Lord Shiva... the most powerful attribute of God Almighty is denoted with a blue-collar around his neck... rather a blue neck! What does this all signify in spiritual terms? The blue body... a blue neck simply means that for humanity to survive... the poison of society is usurped by the gods to be!

In Hindu mythology it has been stated that Samudra manthan is an essential part of life! In absence of Samudra manthan (ocean churning)... one simply could not separate good from evil... Dharma from Adharma! It is only by churning of thoughts in our brain... human beings finally overcame karma and reached the stage of enlightenment (kaivalya jnana) and finally salvation (moksha).

Every second thousands of thoughts pass through our brain. Inherently human beings based on their intellect churned through these thoughts at unimaginable speeds... in the melee one precipitated nectar and also poison. Nectar is representative of all good things in life... the result of a sunny disposition and godly thinking... result of positive thinking!

Poison precipitates from all negative thinking that human beings invoke most of time! For serious travelers of spirituality distinguishing between the two... nectar and poison is essential! As the poison simply cannot be done away with... it accumulates in the neck giving it blue color... and for an avatar to remove the entire poison from humanity... the whole body becomes blue!

Blue color in the body precipitates from negative thoughts and nectar... the vital elixir of life makes one reach the stage of enlightenment and finally salvation. The body of man gods like Mahavira, Gautama Buddha, Jesus Christ or Prophet Mohammed is never depicted in blue... why? It is for the simple reason that all man gods were preachers... never protectors of the society!

Having reached the stage of enlightenment... the stage of kaivalya jnana... one can disseminate the wisdom gained on spiritual path to masses at large! But in times of strife... when Adharma (lawlessness) is peaking... it is only one with powers of an avatar (God manifest in human form) who sets things right in the society!

One amongst us... an ordinary mortal dons the mantle of an avatar of the era! Symbolically we say an avatar is God manifest in human form. Truthfully every avatar is born an ordinary mortal... yet, one manifests the power of God Almighty... the inhibited supreme power of the cosmos! By forgiving some... by punishing some... this avatar of an era finally reestablishes Dharma (righteousness).

In the spiritual world... in the field of spirituality nothing can be understood literally! Every book of mythology... every sacred Scripture has something to convey! It is only by following the uncharted path of spirituality with utmost sincerity... one finally understands... assimilates wisdom contained therein!

In simpler terms if we ask who is Krishna... the answer would be... truth personified in human form! Any human being who walks the path of absolute truthfulness in every stage of life... reaches the stage of enlightenment (kaivalya jnana) and finally administers the affairs of humanity at large by becoming an avatar... God manifest in human form!

During Dwapar Yuga when it was a period of total strife came Lord Krishna! In present times when society has reached its lowest ebb... people await with fervor the coming of Bhagavan Kalki... an avatar of present era! Bhagavan Kalki would be an ordinary mortal yet, possessing the powers of Lord Krishna... an avatar of Dwapar Yuga!

The system of God is not disordered at any stage... nor are there any free lunches in the system of God! As is the karma performed... accordingly the results! If Bhagavan Kalki indulges in freeing the society of all its ills... one needs digesting the ills... The poison of the society!

This does not mean the body of Bhagavan Kalki would turn blue... it simply denotes that Bhagwan Kalki would have to forgive some... punish others! The level of patience, persistence and perseverance that needs to be exercised by Bhagavan Kalki cannot be perceived by normal human beings... it is phenomenal... Truly mammoth!

Only by forgiving people... by punishing those who have erred in their decisions can Dharma (righteousness) be reestablished... never otherwise! The level of forgiveness that needs to be practiced at the level of avatar is beyond comprehension of most human beings... something that humanity perceives with reverence and awe!

One very important aspect of Hindu God Krishna is... Jainism believes in fact that Lord Krishna never reached the stage of enlightenment (kaivalya jnana)! This is a total misnomer... a fact that results from absolute ignorance! Lord Krishna was much above Mahavira, Gautama Buddha, Jesus Christ or Prophet Mohammed... he was not a man God but an avatar of his era (God manifest in human form).

The startling fact is that all man gods like Mahavira, Gautama Buddha, Jesus Christ; Prophet Mohammed, Sri Ramakrishna Paramhansa and Maharishi Ramana gained their enlightenment by assimilating the pearls of wisdom contained in sacred Bhagavad-Gita of Hinduism... the doctrine given to mankind by Lord Krishna in the battle of Mahabharata between Pandavas and Kauravas!

Bhagavad-Gita of Hinduism... the doctrine given to mankind by Krishna is the end of all! With passage of time nothing in Bhagavad-Gita becomes redundant! At any given moment of time all principles laid out in Bhagavad-Gita withstand the truths of time! The facts of every Scripture need to be interpreted based on developments of science as of today!

If during times of Lord Krishna... the battle was fought sitting in chariots... with bows and arrows... we do not contemplate fighting our enemy in present times with old medieval Armory! Most human beings on mother Earth even today interpret the Scriptures ritually and literally... the prime reason why human beings failed to connect to teachings of sacred Scriptures... particularly Bhagavad-Gita!

If we desire understanding the gist of Bhagavad-Gita as detailed by Lord Krishna... we need to travel the spiritual path with all sincerity practicing patience, persistence and perseverance at its level best! Following the path of absolute truthfulness throughout is a bare necessity of the spiritual path... field of spirituality!

Devoid of truthfulness at every stage of life most human beings failed to digest what the Scriptures stated! Mounted with a bloated ego... wanton desires and greed for materialistic riches most human beings desired gaining enlightenment and salvation standing on the pedestal of materialistic riches! We simply cannot view the whole of New York standing on first floor of Empire state building!

For having a look at entire length and breadth of Chicago city I had to climb to the top... the signature room on 95th floor of John Hancock Center, Chicago downtown, USA! Enlightenment and salvation is not that easily gained. Bhagavad-Gita... the most apt doctrine on path of spirituality... the words of wisdom stated by Lord Krishna is nothing more than nectar available in pure form!

But how many people world over fathom the depth of wisdom contained in sacred Bhagavad-Gita of Hinduism? For realizing absolute truths of life... for knowing our inner self... for reaching the portals of God Almighty... the kingdom of God (termed Vaikuntha in Hinduism) one needs fathoming the gist of Bhagavad-Gita in its entirety.

It is the contents of Bhagavad-Gita for which humanity remembers Lord Krishna... an avatar of his era! In absence of Bhagavad-Gita mankind would simply be lost in the maze of numerous Scriptures available world over! Before coming of Lord Krishna existed voluminous Vedas and Upanishads!

With the coming of Lord Krishna... the principal gist of Vedas was reduced to Vedanta (end of Vedas). Bhagavad-Gita is also termed Vedanta... the end of Vedas! With the coming of Lord Krishna the path of spirituality became simplified. It became much easier to understand the intricacies of spirituality... the hidden ingredients of the spiritual path!

Simply worshiping Krishna, simply worshiping Lord Krishna either as a child prodigy or one who administers the sayings of Bhagavad-Gita does not yield anything! The gist of Bhagavad-Gita... the sayings of Lord Krishna can only be fathomed by traveling the path of jnana yoga... the path of absolute wisdom!

Nothing in the field of spirituality can be understood ritually! For understanding Bhagavad-Gita one need not go to a temple, church or mosque! Remaining wherever we are... whatever the stage one can fathom the pearls of wisdom contained in Bhagavad-Gita by following the path of absolute truthfulness always and ever! One also need not change to Hindu religion.

God Almighty can always be reached by following the gist of Bhagavad-Gita in all sincerity... but God Almighty can never be reached via the path of religion... the path of rituals! Sri Ramakrishna Paramhansa and Maharishi Ramana started their journey towards God via the path of bhakti yoga but subsequently switched to path of jnana yoga... path of absolute wisdom!

God Almighty can only be reached via the path of jnana yoga... never bhakti yoga or karma yoga! It is Bhagavad-Gita that tells us how to travel the path of jnana yoga. Bhagavad-Gita also teaches us how to distinguish between jnana yoga, bhakti yoga and karma yoga. If we sincerely desire reaching end of cosmic life... the 8.4 millionth manifestation... we have no other alternative than to travel the path advocated by Bhagavad-Gita of Hinduism!

Lord Krishna is the most revered entity in Hinduism! Followers of Hinduism understand the significance of wisdom contained in Bhagavad-Gita! By remaining immersed in Krishna consciousness... by following the tenets of wisdom contained in Bhagavad-Gita human beings finally reached the kingdom of God... the abode of God (termed Vaikuntha in Hinduism).

Worshiping Krishna does not mean anything in the spiritual world. Worshiping is a form of ritual... that is limited to religion! For understanding the truth of life... for reaching our soul Atman... the spirit within one need traveling the spiritual path... not the path of religion! The path of spirituality is best traveled following Bhagavad-Gita... the doctrine given to mankind by Lord Krishna!

Many people world over doubt whether Lord Krishna ever existed? Can such people ever be expected to travel the spiritual path... a path that requires practicing patience, persistence and perseverance to its extreme! The path of spirituality can only be traveled by having absolute faith in God Almighty... absolute faith in Lord Krishna... absolute faith in Bhagavad-Gita!

Our goal of life must be fixed... chances of sway can never be minimal... they have to be zero! For reaching God in ones lifetime of 70 to 80 years... we have to be firm in our dealings with God. We have to exhibit absolute faith in God Almighty all the time! This is how all man gods gained enlightenment (kaivalya jnana) in their lifetime averaging 70 to 80 years!

Ever since the Big Bang occurred and all souls atmans scattered all over the cosmos at unimaginable speeds... the primary goal of every soul Atman became regaining its lost original pure prime pristine form at the earliest! It is only by manifesting the human form every soul Atman finally regains its original lost prime pristine primordial form... never otherwise!

The human form is reached by our soul Atman by crossing through a maze of 7.3 million manifestations in the insect, plant and animal form! In the human form alone we have 1.1 million manifestations... an earthly life cycle of 12.4 million years to reach the stage of enlightenment (kaivalya jnana) and finally salvation (moksha).

In the field of spirituality there is absolutely no hurry yet, we do not know what we shall be in the next manifestation... why not travel the spiritual path now! The present human form is limited to one life span of 70 to 80 years... in the next manifestation by our soul Atman the physical form shall change based on residual balance of karma of present life after death of body?

The doctrine of karma acts as the accountant general of the cosmic system... maintaining accounts of each and every soul Atman in the cosmos... right from the first manifestation to the last... the 8.4 millionth manifestation when human beings gained enlightenment (kaivalya jnana) and finally salvation (moksha)!

At the time of death of body whatever the residual balance of karma... the same becomes the opening balance for next manifestation... the new journey of life! The destiny of human beings always lay in our hands still; we continue blaming God Almighty for our woes! Human beings shape their destiny every second of life. As we perform our karma according shall be our destiny!

However, the complex process of karma has some hidden ingredients lest wise human beings as they are would interpolate or extrapolate the basic principles of life! To stop human beings from doing so... to stop human beings from playing with destiny... God Almighty made a particular portion of karma fructify now or many manifestations henceforth!

This hidden ingredient of karma is termed Prarabdha karma... that can fructify now, a few days from now, a few months from now, a few years from now or many manifestations henceforth! None knows when Prarabdha karma fructifies... the prime reason why some people succumb to their fate resulting from resultant bad Prarabdha karma from previous manifestations!

What if positive Prarabdha karma from previous manifestations fructified all of a sudden... it results in winning a lottery or materialistic possessions abound... something totally unrelated to the karma of present world!

If we truly desire understanding in life... who is Krishna... we need to fathom the depth of wisdom contained in Bhagavad-Gita of Hinduism! It is only by assimilating pearls of wisdom contained in Bhagavad-Gita I finally realized God in 1993 at 37 years of age.

When 11 years of age I had a deep-rooted desire to find and meet God in this very life. By 13 years of age my simple desire turned to firm conviction... come whatever may... in this very life I shall see and meet God! 25 years of yoga meditation I finally reached the end of cosmic life... the 8.4 millionth manifestation when I reached the stage of self realization... God realization!

I was born in a Jain family yet; the principles of Bhagavad-Gita are the foremost for me! I do not place Lord Krishna above Mahavira, Gautama Buddha, Jesus Christ or prophet Mohammed simply out of fancy... having realized God I have understood the intricacies of the spiritual world. Ever since six years of age I traveled the path of absolute truthfulness.

Traveling the path of absolute truthfulness had its merits. I could hear the sweet small inner voice that seemed to come from within my heart... the voice of my soul Atman! Dictated by the promptings of my soul Atman I finally cleared all hurdles of the spiritual path and reached the stage of self realization in 1993!

For me Lord Krishna is the epitome of spirituality... the end of spirituality! There is nothing beyond Lord Krishna that needs knowing in the cosmic world. Lord Krishna was truly an avatar of his era... God manifest in human form! In the present Kali Yuga... the Dark Age... the coming of Bhagavan Kalki... an avatar of present era would be truly enlightening! God bless all!
