Advaita Vedanta... the doctrine of non dualism is one without a parallel. Propagated in the history of mankind by Adi Shankaracharya... Advaita Vedanta implies one and only one. The philosophy of Advaita Vedanta... the non dual characteristic of the supreme Lord, the Almighty God aka Parmatman in hinduism confirms that the Creator God does not have a dualistic nature.

What makes Adi Shankaracharya affirm with authority that the entity of God Almighty being non dualistic in nature? The authoritative sayings of Adi Shankaracharya rely on the fact that everything in the cosmic system is pure energy. Looking at the Definition God we find that the sum total of all the souls' atmans in the cosmos in their purified state is what we call God Almighty. And what does this mean. Such a state of affairs... does it ever exist?

Is it possible that all the souls' atmans in the cosmos combine together at a certain point of time? Yes, when the dissolution of cosmos occurs aka Pralaya in Hinduism... the total size of the cosmos reduces to half the size of a thumb. This has been clearly envisaged in the sacred Bhagavad Gita... the doctrine put forward by Lord Krishna in Mahabharata. If we are to believe in existence of god Almighty... we also need to believe in the existence of souls atmans in the cosmos. In a nutshell, if a mound of grain is God Almighty then every individual grain is an independent soul atman.

In the circumstances... the dualistic nature of God Almighty is absolutely ruled out. There can only be one God... one entity. God and souls atmans always coexist. One can never exist in the absence of the other. Right from the beginning of the cosmos with a big bang... when Almighty God explodes himself with a big bang... and until the dissolution of cosmos aka Pralaya in Hinduism... this non dual characteristic of God Almighty remains intact.

God Almighty explodes with a big bang resulting in all souls atmans getting scattered all over the Cosmos. On their cosmic journey the souls atmans gather impurities on the way. To come back to their pristine pure original form these souls atmans have to manifest a body to work out their karma. And starts a new cosmos... a new origin of life!

The soul atman inside every living being is of the same entity as Almighty God. Every single soul atman is a part of the puzzle and the whole puzzle being Almighty God. Does this mean that every individual part of the puzzle has its own meaning of life... yes; every soul atman has its own independent entity in the Cosmos. Every single soul atman has its own distinct characteristics. No two atmans souls can be same. It has been rightly said that the physical manifest form of a human being is endowed with very special features that are characteristic of that particular individual. Every human being for that matter is unique in its own self.

And for that matter... every living form is unique in itself. Every single insect, every single plant or a tree, every form of animal has its own independent entity in the cosmic system. Despite all this the unique non duality of God Almighty remains intact. The distinct characteristics of every individual soul atman are but manifest attributes of God Almighty. As many souls' atmans in the cosmos... as many distinct attributes of the manifested form.

Vedanta is aka Bhagavad Gita... the doctrine put forward by Lord Krishna in Mahabharata. The end of the Vedas... the Vedanta is primarily termed as Bhagavad Gita. Nowhere in Bhagavad Gita do we find the dualistic nature of God Almighty. Bhagavad Gita repeatedly confirms the Advaita nature of God Almighty. As envisaged in Bhagavad Gita, God Almighty is the only single true entity in whole Cosmos... the rest all is Maya, the veil of ignorance.

This in fact is not untruthful. If we try to imagine the boundary of the cosmos... we find none. Does this not confirm that God Almighty is the only true existence in whole Cosmos! Seeing from the senses point of view... we find various life forms existing on Mother Earth and in the Cosmos. From the cosmic angle all is energy. The basic building block of the cosmos is atoms and molecules. In the whole cosmos it is the existence of god that makes the whole cosmic system go round. For Almighty God... the existence of an insect or a human being is not individualized. All is the result of the system that cannot err.

If God Almighty exists... then also does his creation. The existence of god cannot be denied... the existence of souls atmans can also not be denied. The existence of souls atmans confirm the existence of manifested form of life right from amoeba, the first manifestation to the last... an enlightened human being. It is journey of 8.4 million manifestations... and earthly abode of 96.4 million years before an amoeba reaches the stage of enlightenment and finally salvation. The theory of evolution as envisaged and expressed by Charles Darwin in his theory of evolution confirms this aspect of life.

If we presume duality as the base of the cosmic system, then the existence of god Almighty and the souls atmans should have independently coexisted. But the truth is not so. The existence of god Almighty in absence of souls atmans is totally ruled out. Vice versa the existence of souls atmans in absence of God is also ruled out. Vedanta... the sacred Bhagavad Gita appeared on the scene when it was becoming rather impossible for the saints and sages of the era to digest the voluminous Vedas... the Rig Veda Sama Veda, Yajur Veda and the Atharva Veda.

The coming of Lord Krishna... the Avatar of the era made it possible for mankind the availability of the extract of the four Vedas in form of the sacred Bhagavad Gita. The sacred Bhagavad Gita encompasses all knowing which any human being can gain enlightenment and finally salvation Moksha in Hinduism. It is only the non dual characteristic of the Almighty God that leads a serious seeker of spirituality towards gaining enlightenment and finally salvation. Everything else other than Advaita Vedanta has not reached the culmination point.

The prime reason why Shri Madhvacharya the advocate of Dvaita failed to gain enlightenment within his lifetime! Similar was the fate of Ramanuja the proponent of Vishisthadvaita. It is the path of Advaita Vedanta that shall gain one enlightenment and finally salvation within this life. Those who dispute this fact may proceed on the path of spiritual enlightenment... in their journey ahead they shall themselves realize their folly.

It is only the teachings of Vedanta... the sacred Bhagavad Gita... the non duality of Brahman Almighty God that paves way for reaching stage of enlightenment and finally salvation within this life. The truth cannot be belied for the simple fact that indulgence in Dvaita or Vishisthadvaita form of Vedanta lead nowhere. Mahavira, Gautama Buddha, Jesus Christ and Prophet Mohammed all gained enlightenment and finally salvation in their lifetime. They practiced the absolute nature of God Almighty. For them Brahman the Creator of the cosmos had only a single entity. They got what they sought.

Practicing Advaita Vedanta is the core of all spiritual teachings. May God give strength to all to realize the true nature of Almighty God... the single individual entity of God!

Be it doctrine of non dualism, advait masters summary Philosophy of Vedant Jnana... everything bogs down to... whether or not we understand the crux of advaita!
