Vayu air devta god

Vayu: termed as air in English has more weightage in terms of Spiritual terminology.

An important attribute of the cosmic system, can any Jiva survive without air or its basic ingredient Oxygen. Available freely and in abundance by the grace God the Creator it has been abused to the hilt by man.

The air which was comparatively pure a merely 15-20 years ago is now totally polluted. More so in the so called civilized areas. With no permanent remedy in sight who has the power to reverse the processes of nature. None can change the destiny of Humanity on Mother Earth today.

Systems created by God are irreversible in nature. If the society is doomed to decay and death then says the God - I gave men this beautiful ingredient of nature absolutely free and this civilized animal alone polluted it. All trees, birds and animals are but mere silent spectators of the erosion in this valuable source of nature.

In the earlier days and even now, people worship Vayu devta as a Deity supporting Mother Earth. The prime reason why Vayu is referred to as Vayu devta (Air God) in Hindu Scriptures.

The inhabitation on Mother Earth itself would vanish if their was no air. Rain's contain the pollution to a certain extent but, praying to Vayu devta (Air God) and seeking his blessings can ease the situation. In the circumstances must we not pray and simultaneously try to reduce the adverse impact of our living lest the day is not far when we shall see for ourselves the total collapse of the system.
