| Lingam: Shiva Lingam
is symbolic of the Creative Power of the Universe. By controlling the mundane
desires, even the most bestial of beings can rise and conquer the World. Coupled
with full zeal and enthusiasm after establishing absolute control over ones sexual
urges ... one is able to divert and control all his energies towards a particular
goal. Bare
it all and Human Being is no different than an animal except for his thinking
prowess. Misutilization of this thinking power leads one to corrupt actions leading
to degeneration in the thinking process as a whole ... ultimately leading to the
concerned behaving more like an animal than a Human Being. Garb
of a Human Being ... actions those of a vicious killer! A lethal perpetuator of
crime on the prowl in the so-called advanced scientific society of today ... are
these a measure of the standards by which the character of a Human Being is measured
today. How further low shall we stoop. Lingam
also reveals the domination of womanhood by man. The Cosmic Father always dominates
Mother nature. Mother Earth is a living testimony of ... bear all rear all. No
retaliation. Atman the soul within which cannot purify itself without help from
Mother nature ultimately dominates like a bee sucking the sap from a flower. Lingam
when controlled and directed towards positive goals converts Human Beings into
Man Gods like Mahavira,
Buddha, Jesus
Christ and Prophet
Mohammed.
The power of Lingam is the most glorious occurrence created by god in its vast
array of Creation. Without progeny all would have become dead long ago. The perpetuating
theory of Evolution kept the system going. What a foolproof system created by
God Almighty. Praying
in front of Lord Shiva's Lingam is a fairly practiced religious tradition in India.
Considered all powerful and destroyer of evil, Shiva is the most revered yet dreaded
of all Indian gods.
