Can Human Beings gain immortality become immortal

Physical immortality... immortality of the human soul... innate immortality... can it truly be gained by human beings! Is immortality a function of the ephemeral mortal world! What do we really mean when we talk of becoming immortal in this very world! Did Mahavira, Gautama Buddha, Jesus Christ or Prophet Mohammed gain immortality in their lifetime?

Immortality... becoming immortal in ones lifetime means gaining enlightenment (kaivalya jnana) and finally achieving the stage of salvation (moksha)! The moment human beings gain salvation... all is over for the soul atman within. One has finally reached the end of cosmic life... the 8.4 millionth manifestation!

Immortality does not belong to the physical manifested world. It is our soul atman within that is inherently immortal by nature. Our soul atman is indestructible! The occurrence of the big bang at the time of formation of the Cosmos makes all souls atmans mired in impurities. Similar as a rolling ball gathers moss.

To cleanse itself of the impurities... the dross within every soul atman proceeds on a cosmic journey of 8.4 million manifestations during which it is supposed to reach the end of the cosmic journey... the 8.4 millionth manifestation! The moment an independent soul atman reaches the end of cosmic life... one finally gains immortality!

Immortality in the cosmic system simply means that the cosmic life cycle of birth and death for the soul atman ceases to exist. The moment soul atman liberates itself forever from the cycle of birth and death it regains its original pure pristine form. One K. G. of gold in hundred K. G. of gold ore has finally separated itself from 99 K. G.'s of impurities embedded within.

One K. G. of gold in hundred K. G. lump of gold ore always existed but in scattered form. Only after manifesting 8.4 million bodies... the soul atman regains its original pure pristine form. The moment that happens... the soul atman gains absolute immortality (absolute purity devoid of all dross within).

As the metal within the ore cannot separate itself on its own and requires requisite mining and processing machinery... so does every soul atman require manifesting a chain of 8.4 million bodies to work out its karma... remove the impurities within! The manifestation of a body by every soul atman is to get a step ahead in the cosmic journey of life.

In the circumstances hope of gaining physical immortality by human beings is living in a world of illusion! As is accepted by most human beings world over that entering the kingdom of heaven means gaining immortality simply spells ignorance! Heaven and hell has nothing to do with immortality of the soul!

Can human beings gain immortality?

In the bodily form none can gain immortality. Yes... the moment one reaches the stage of Mahavira, Gautama Buddha, Jesus Christ or prophet Mohammed... one transcends all barriers of cosmic life and our soul atman having liberated from the cycle of birth and death forever... finally gains immortality... and enters the kingdom of God (aka Baikuntha in Hinduism).

Immortality in the human form is prohibited by God. It simply cannot be. Why? For the simple reason that it is our soul atman within that has manifested the human form to work out its karma... cleanse itself of the impurities within! The human form is but a garment for the soul atman within... nothing more!

As the changing of guards at Buckingham Palace... the soul atman keeps on changing forms until it regains its original pure pristine form... becomes immortal! The human form is but a phase in the entire life span of our soul atman. The human form is the highest manifest stage in the cosmic life cycle. Only as human beings our soul atman gains immortality forever.

Ways to gain immortality!

In the physical manifest world... human beings can gain immortality by reaching the stage of enlightenment and finally salvation. Mahavira, Gautama Buddha, Jesus Christ and Prophet Mohammed... all gained immortality in their lifetime! These enlightened souls after gaining enlightenment and salvation left for the kingdom of God... a point of no return!

Enlightenment is the only way out for achieving immortality forever. There is no other shortcut or path for gaining immortality! Immortality is only gained in the human form... never otherwise! Why indulge and manifest a lower form... we do not know what we shall be in the next manifestation!

Becoming a Mahavira, Gautama Buddha, Jesus Christ or prophet Mohammed is the goal of every living form! Every human being... nay every living form has to reach the 8.4 millionth manifestation to gain enlightenment and finally salvation! Only then the liberated soul atman reaches the abode of God... the kingdom of God!

Every serious seeker of spirituality on the path to gaining enlightenment in ones lifetime shall definitely gain immortality at the end of present life. The moment one reaches the stage of Nirvikalpa Samadhi (state of nothingness)... the countdown to immortality has already begun! Escaping the rut of daily life is only possible when one gains immortality forever!

Those who dream of gaining physical immortality must always remember that both heaven and hell are interim stages in the life cycle of the soul atman. Whenever matching parents are not available on Mother Earth... the soul atman hibernates either in heaven or hell... in heaven if the residual balance of karma is positive and hell if negative!

Heaven (Swarga in Hinduism) exists in the core of Sun where temperatures exceed millions of degrees centigrade! It is in such high temperatures the soul atman feels comfortable. Hell (Naraka in Hinduism) exists in the periphery of the sun where temperatures are considerably less. It is in such low temperatures the soul atman suffers in eternity!

The moment matching parents become available on Mother Earth... the hibernating soul atman immediately manifests a new life form. Neither from heaven or hell can the soul atman gain direct access into the kingdom of God (Baikuntha in Hinduism). One needs reaching the form of human beings to gain enlightenment and salvation before entering the kingdom of God.
